Large milk powder manufacturer required to locate a large check sieving machine into a complicated and narrow area being fed via three large diameter screw conveyors. Not only was the area restricted but access through the factory to the area was extremely difficult.
Feed from three inclined screw conveyors. Discharge into bulk storage hopper.
A Sievmaster Slimline 1550-ST unit was supplied, with specially designed inlet panwork. The unit was mounted upon a special heavy duty extension stand to locate to an existing mezzanine floor area. Flexible connecting sleeves between the feed conveyors and the exit bulk hopper allowed for dust free conditions to be maintained within the factory.
The manufacturer added the quality control requirement allowing him to obtain audit verification for a previously un-audited product. Minimum disruption to the factory layout and cost saving for major revisions to the existing production areas. Managed to continue to use existing equipment with only minor changes.
